Our Story
Bob and Alice worked in the same department at JDS Uniphase, but they did not socialize outside of work. The company was going through some tough times and began layoffs. Before the layoffs began, both Bob and Alice attended a company cottage party. After a few drinks they started talking and a mutual interest in one another developed. They began dating and have been together for almost 6 years. They recently purchased a home in Rockland, Ontario and live there with their dog, Claire.
And how did Bob propose?
On Alice's 29th birthday, Bob gave Alice her gift which was a mahogany jewelry box. In the bottom drawer of the jewelry box was a little red box with the ring inside. Finally, after 5 years, Alice got her ring!
